Through the ages the paranormal has been described across many different cultures and religions, in hindsight modern science attempts to disprove it, write it off as the ramblings of old religions that didn’t have the insight of us today. But I’m here to tell you that this is all a lie, the paranormal is very real. I have been investigating, encountering and cataloguing paranormal events for as long as I can remember, entities from many different religions and cultural backgrounds all existing on the same plane of existence as us, hidden from sight. If you’re here, it probably means you already know this, you’ve encountered it, you’re experiencing it and you’re looking for help. I cannot do that for you, you’ll have to help yourself. All I can do is give you the tools and knowledge to do so.
Throughout history various religions have described the existence of demons, evil malevolent entities believed to be the minions or servants of a greater evil. In a western context you probably understand this in terms of Christianity, the existence of demons that serve the devil, sent to earth to cause havoc with the goal to possess humans, needing an exorcism to be sent back to hell. The most famous example of a demon probably being lucifer, an arch-angel that rebelled against god and was thus cast down to hell where he serves to collect the souls of sinners. The most important steps from my research in how to defeat a demon is to identify which religion and culture the demon originates from, contacting an official at a place of worship from that religion and letting them cast the demon back to where it came from. These practices are not easy on the human form, but partaking in them is vital if you want to rid of the demon. Complete the ritual or risk succumbing to it’s possession
Native to America and Canada, the Redacted is a creature often described in Native American culture as a large, malevolent spirit with human-like characteristics who attempts to possess humans. After possession the creature will instill a feeling of instatiable hunger and the urge for cannibalism in it’s victim, making the possessed person prone to violent outbursts. Uttering the name of this creature is believed by the Native American people to be strictly prohibited, as even uttering it’s name could summon it and make it stronger. Hence why it’s name is censored on this website. It can be described as a large, semi-humanoid creature, extremely emaciated, with rotting skin clinging to visible bones. A foul stench follows it’s every move, signaling that it is nearby. There are no known ways to defeat a Redacted, seemingly immortal and eternally hungry for more humans to possess and/or eat. The best way to escape it is to know the warning signs, the sudden chill in the air and smell of decomposition, along with avoiding dense, large forests within North America.
Ghosts are folklore-creatures from a wide variety of different cultures, often described as the soul or spirit of a deceased person and sometimes animals. Descriptions of ghosts vary across cultures from full apparitions of humans, semi-transparent floating humanoids all the way to invisible forces. It is often believed that people that are not yet ready to pass on to the afterlife often appear as ghosts until whatever their unfinished business is gets handled, passing on to the afterlife after they finish whatever is keeping them to the mortal plane. Instead of possessing someone like a demon, they tend to attach themselves to an object of person relevant to their history. For example I am sure you’re familiar with the idea of a ‘haunted house’, a home, usually previously owned by the spirit to which the spirit is bonded.
A subset of demonic possession, curses are demonic influence that can radiate from specific cursed objects. Any person that comes in contact with said cursed object will suffer the effects of the curse. You might be familiar with objects such as the Anabelle doll, a cursed doll that causes hostile paranormal effects to happen to the owner of it, currently being held in the Warren Occult Museum in Connecticut. A digital curse follows many of the same rules, generally being attributed to some kind of movie, videogame or piece of music that has been cursed, generally through a performed ritual. Any person who consumes that media will in turn be affected by that curse, the effects differ per curse but can present in anything from corruption of computers to interactions with the real world, like the curse transfers itself to the consumer of the media. You can never truly get rid of said curse until it is shared, passing on that cursed piece of media will infect another person and alleviate the effects it has on you. The more people it is passed to, the more the curse dilutes and loses power, like you’re pouring a limited amount of water into an ever expanding amount of cups, the more cups, the less water in each of them.
